The department has organized an expert lecture on Smart Manufacturing for all the students of the department.

Industrial visits at Indian Railways, Sanchi Dairy Plant, Eicher Motors, etc.

Prof. A.I Khandwawala (Retd. SGSITS) and Prof. Eminent AG Ambekar delivered an Expert talk on recent advancement in thermal power plant and theory of machine and mechanism for second and third year students.

Prof. Satish Purohit (SGSITS) delivered his Expert talk on material engineering and selection of material for Second and third Year Students.

 The team Acroracerz from Mechanical Engineering Department participated in e-Baja 2018 and secured IVth position all over India.
